Terms of Service

1. Who we are, and agreeing to these terms

Days of Supply is run by Days of Supply LLC, a Utah limited liability company ("we", "us"). These terms cover the Days of Supply app at app.daysofsupply.com, this website, and our emails (together, "the service"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. Who can use it

You must be at least 18 to create an account. A household can include children in its planning, and an account owner can invite family members to help, but the account owner is responsible for who they invite and how the account is used.

3. Your account and signing in

You sign in with a link we email to you, so there is no password. Keep your email account secure, because anyone who can read your email can sign in to Days of Supply as you. You can also set a phone lock (PIN) on each device. Tell us right away at [email protected] if you think someone has used your account without permission.

4. Plans, trials and payment

• Free plan. The free plan stays free, with the limits shown on our pricing page.
• Trial. New accounts may get a free trial of paid features. No card is needed to start one. When it ends you move to the free plan unless you subscribe.
• Paid plans. Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance through our payment processor, Stripe. Prices are shown before you pay, and include any taxes we're required to collect.
• Renewal. Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. We'll email you before a yearly plan renews.
• Canceling. Cancel any time from Settings in the app. Your paid features continue to the end of the period you've paid for. Nothing is deleted when you cancel; your list moves to the free plan.
• Refunds. Monthly plans aren't refunded for partial months. If you ask within 14 days of being charged for a new year of a yearly plan, we'll refund that charge in full. Otherwise payments are non-refundable, except where the law requires a refund.
• Price changes. We may change prices. A change never applies to a period you've already paid for, and we'll tell you at least 30 days before it affects your next renewal.
• Invitation codes. Codes give free access for the time stated with the code. They can't be exchanged for money, and we may end a code that's being misused.

5. Fair use and sharing

One subscription covers one household and the places that household owns or uses, such as its home, cabin, RV or vacation home. Separate households sharing one subscription need their own plans. Family compounds, preparedness groups and businesses can ask us for a custom plan.

Some features, like reading a label from a photo, suggesting recipes and the Help assistant, cost us money each time they're used. Paid plans include generous fair use of these features, currently up to 500 label scans and 200 recipe ideas per account each month. Typing items in by hand is never limited. We may adjust these limits, and we'll give notice before lowering them.

The account owner decides who can sign in and which places each person can see, and is responsible for the people they invite.

6. Your data belongs to you

Everything you put into Days of Supply, such as your inventory, photos, notes, household details and documents, remains yours. You give us permission to store, process, back up and display it only as needed to run the service for you, including sending it to the service providers described in our Privacy Policy. We don't sell your data, and we don't use it to show you ads.

You can download your list as a spreadsheet from Settings at any time. Please don't upload anything you don't have the right to share, or anything unlawful.

7. The numbers are planning estimates

The days of supply, water needs, fuel use, generator and battery estimates, animal needs, calorie figures, weather effects and recipe ideas are based on typical figures and on what you enter. They can be wrong, and real situations vary. Specifically:

• Check food yourself. Before eating anything, check its condition, dates and storage, whatever the app says. A can that is bulging, leaking, rusted or smells wrong should not be eaten.
• Medication. Never change how you take a medication because of the app. Ask your doctor or pharmacist about refills and emergency supplies.
• Generators, fuel and heaters. Follow the manufacturer's instructions and local codes. Never run a generator, grill or fuel-burning heater indoors or in a garage, and use carbon monoxide detectors.
• Wells, solar, gas and electrical work. Use a licensed professional.
• Label reading and AI features. Label reading, recipe ideas and Help answers are produced by automated tools and can make mistakes. Check what they fill in.

8. Acceptable use

Please use the service the way it's meant to be used. You agree not to:

• break the law, or use the service to harm anyone;
• try to get into other people's accounts or data, or get around plan limits, fair use limits or security;
• copy, scrape, reverse-engineer or decompile the app, except where the law specifically allows it;
• resell, rent or offer the service to others without our written agreement;
• use the service to build a competing product, or use automated tools to overload it.

9. Copyright, trademarks and who owns what

The Days of Supply app, website, software code, design, layout, illustrations, text, checklists, calculations and help content are owned by Days of Supply LLC and are protected by copyright and other laws. © 2026 Days of Supply LLC. All rights reserved.

"Days of Supply" and our logo are trademarks of Days of Supply LLC. You may not use them in a way that suggests we endorse or partner with you without our written permission.

We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable permission to use the service for your own household while you follow these terms. That permission doesn't give you any ownership of the service. You may print or save lists and checklists for your own household's use.

Suggestions. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them to improve the service without owing you anything, and without using your name unless you agree.

Copyright complaints. If you believe something in the service infringes your copyright, email [email protected] with a description of the work, where it appears, and your contact details.

10. Other companies we rely on, and links

The service uses trusted providers for hosting, payments, email, label reading and weather, described in our Privacy Policy. Their services are governed by their own terms. The service may also link to other websites or products, and some links may earn us a small commission at no extra cost to you. We'll say so where that's the case. We aren't responsible for other companies' websites, products or policies.

11. Changes to the service

We're always improving Days of Supply, so features may be added, changed or removed. If we ever shut the service down, we'll give you at least 60 days' notice and a way to download your data.

12. Ending an account

You can stop using the service at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account by emailing [email protected] from the email you sign in with. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other people at risk. Where we reasonably can, we'll warn you first and give you a chance to download your data.

13. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we don't promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its estimates will be accurate for your situation, and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Some places don't allow these exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

14. Limits on our responsibility

To the fullest extent the law allows, Days of Supply LLC and its owners, employees and contractors won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost supplies, spoiled food, property damage, injury, or lost data, arising from your use of or reliance on the service. Our total responsibility for any claim about the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50. Nothing in these terms limits responsibility that can't be limited by law.

15. Your responsibility to us

If your breaking these terms, or misusing the service, leads to a claim against us, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it, to the extent the law allows.

16. Disputes and Utah law

If something goes wrong, please email us first at [email protected], and we'll try to sort it out within 30 days. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that can't be settled informally will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Washington County, Utah, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction. Either of us may instead bring a claim in small claims court if it qualifies.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we'll let you know by email or in the app at least 30 days before it takes effect. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

18. The rest

These terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the service. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a part right away, we haven't given up the right to later. You can't transfer your account or these terms to someone else without our permission; we may transfer them as part of a sale or reorganization of our business, and your rights under them stay the same.
